I need to attach a PCB to a heatsink at some distance above the base plate of the chassis. I can't use long stand-offs to support the PCB because there is another board positioned underneath it on the chassis base plate. The only way I can think to support the higher PCB is to create a small platform using brackets fastened to the vertical face of the heatsink and the underside of the platform.
Is there any other way of supporting the higher PCB?

Like that. Need to check whether I can get stand offs that are long enough. Would also have to get the vertical alignment just right . . .
If you're designing the upper pcb, you can just use some L shaped attach points soldered or screwed to the pcb. As an example: LM3886 Done Right
Many thanks for that, I was thinking that I would need to support the free end of the PCB even if I used such angle brackets at the heatsink, but maybe the I can get away with not doing so . . .
By coincidence the Boards I'm using are for Tom's Parallel 86 amp!
