Interesting.
It addresses etching the copper. :)

However, one important primary step set is not addressed .
That would be the lamination of the copper and the substrates...... often fiberglass cloth impregnated with partially cured epoxy resins for high end PCBs.
If this is not done properly and according to given specs, it can cause delamination when soldering or desoldering.

I used to work in the PCB lamination industry :)

Its just too much hassle to make your own.
I found mine were under/over exposed or didn't etch uniformly leaving some parts over/under etched on the same pcb.

After getting extortionate quotes for pcb's in the UK I found China to have much better prices. From order to receipt of pcb's is 2 weeks. I have never had a bad pcb and the pcb's look very professional.
