Default How do I replace spring loaded door magnet?

Hello, I'm not quite sure what it's called so I included a photo.

I have a hi-fi system cabinet that has this spring loaded magnet for the door but the trouble is that the spring is too weak to propel the door away. I'm assuming that short of something like filing off some of the magnet, there's really nothing I can do about it but I can't see how it's attached.

When there aren't any screws visible, how are these devices usually attached? It isn't common practice to glue them in, is it?

Thank you in advance and I apologize for my ignorance.

Probably pressed in, relying on barbs on the plastic housing to keep it in, but might also be glued...

My guess is the spring is still as designed, but that there's friction at the hinges (try oil?) preventing the door from opening as you expect...

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm not sure that's it because when I move the door it moves very smoothly at the touch of a finger.

Well, worse comes to worse, I might have to break it out, no big deal.

Maybe it needs that special touch? Or prop it up a tiny bit in the back to get a gravity assist...
