Default Crown macrotech face plate restoration

Hi not sure if this is the best place to ask but what would be a good way to restore the faceplate on a crown macrotech 1200. Its looking pretty sad so any ideas are welcome.

Cheers

Is that one of the cast aluminum ones? (Or extruded or something)

I don't know why you couldn't use automobile cleaning products to clean it up. The panel comes off.

If you mean the printed part, you could contact Crown and see if replacements are available. Otherwise a good scrubbing ought to help. Isn't the printed face part a tough label glued onto the metal?
