Default Festival Build - help!

Hi Guys,

My first post here on the forum so please bear with me.

Last year we did a build for Roskilde-Festival in Denmark which contained the following hardware:

41Hz Audio:AMP9-BASIC

4 x:

4 x:
Hifi/auto højttaler 4 ohm 15 | Elektronik Lavpris ApS

4 x:
Piezo Horn Tweeter PT-1016, 186x80mm | Elektronik Lavpris ApS

We builded each of the 4 units into square boxes with a volume of about 70 liters. (What was suggested for the subs).

The Amp was powered from 2 serial connected car batteries which gave us an output of ~24V.

We think about upgrading the setup a bit. I have the following thoughts on the new setup but would REALLY appreciate some help from you experts!

We think of the following:

We would use the same amp as it is, as far I can read, quite okay for our purpose. We would instead of having 4 units only have 2 units but then connect them to two outputs each in the amp to maximize the output. How would that work? I can read that it will improve the output.

We know the speaker units are not the best, and we consider upgrading them. The ones we have only have a SPL at 88,6 dB. We consider upgrading to something like: 15 8 ohm PA Bas, Kenford ZYD385B-8-14 | Elektronik Lavpris ApS
Which has a SPL at 97 dB. Wouldn't that improve the sound and especially the loudness of the speakers a lot? I have read that this relatively small improvement (in numbers) make a huge different in sound and loudness.

We have heard and seen some guys using the "horn-principle" and it sounded amazing and we really consider building our two new units in that way. Something like that:
But we have no experience within the "horn-speaker" area, so we could really use some help with calculations/dimensions and stuff like that.

Or in another way:
Every input, suggestion, proposal or just anything that you might think could help us would be much appreciated!

Best regards,
