I was told, that I should wrap the wool in some kind of foil to avoid tiny glass crystals spread in the room. Oh well... one picture and million opinions.

Nice woodwork, but, to make it an acoustic panel, I would expect to see something that would vaguely resemble a Helmholtz resonator. E

Main goal was to treat absurd bass response and flattering in my room. Resonator is quite nice idea, but I've make up my mind to make some decent 3D acoustic diffusers.

Nice picture of Manhatten, couln't find a parking spot there either.
What is the math or principel behind your design? E

I dunno what bout this design, but I shall use QRDude QRDude: Quadratic Residue Diffuser calculator for mine.
Video here QRDUDE Acoustic Design Software - YouTube Easy to download program, easy to operate either.

Interesting program, but..., the way I read it is that at 100Hz your deepest well would be 1.5m (or more) deep.
The first thing you need to do (me thinks) is to find out what the ofending frequency is. Than, scout the room for panels/doors/walls/cabinets with sympathetic frequencies, and eliminate those with bracing.
And than, if there is still a problem, use Helmholtz. Sorry, no shortcuts. E

Finally finished RPG / Skyline / 3D diffuser
Alltogether 500 pcs of wood. Hand sawn, hand sanded. Jolly good job IMAO.

Diffusion on the front stage? Don't you want that in the rear stage with absorption in the front stage?

-sent from a phone; sorry for amy typos
