got into long debate on building a power supply for a big car audio amplifier. To sum it up, it's too hard for the novice. So, someone suggested to me a route to bypass the power supply by feeding the audio boards directly from an isolated power source (a bank of 12v batteries which would have high voltage). had planned to build an electric car and asked if the EV's battery pack would work, he suggested it would work, but introduce noise to the amp. so, looking to build battery bank to have the amp feed off of. My question...where can you find the most basic audio section schematics for and amplifier. can think of 1) inputs from the rca connection 2)a potentiometer*** (spelling sucks) for the gain 3)......can someone lead through the basic circut???

when does the power from the pack come in and does it take the exact place of a ordinary power supply? ...thanks
