Hey there, I know i'm a newbie for asking this, but is it possible to split a jack-input and connect it directly to an amp6basic?
I am making a mobile boombox, and thought that if you could connect an iPod directly to the amp, you could spare the energy for the car stereo. Do you really need the car stereo/radio? Sincerely, Christian |

Hi Christian,
In a boombox set up, I run my iPod from the headphone jack, to the amp using a stereo mini to a double RCA plug. Works just fine. |

The amp6b has a minijack connector and has a input sensitivity especially optimized for ipods, so the answer is as simple as: yes. You can run it directly from the iPod.
