My dad bought new speakers and gave me the older ones for my gaming computer. However, they look BAD. Weathered and the speakers and the sub arent the same colour... So how could I paint them without ruining anything? And how could i replace the black cloth mesh cover?

They are wonderful !!
You should put them as your avatar !
Really ;
Frankly ,
the grill cloth it's just something that must be put only in REAL need ,like
big dust in the air or kids around ( or pets ! )
I'm a big kid ,too
But I prefer to roast them from the inside
Something like a microwave oven
And what does the grill cloth hide ?
And what type of varnish is now used ? Sticky vinyl ? On cheap
chipboard ?
What about covering them with 1mm laminated steel or aluminum ?
It would become a set of 'tough boxes' !
With many rivets the cloth would be then substituted by a steel grid .
Next step would be to put aluminum cone woofers
And the 'Alien' picture on the sides

which reminds me, however, they received a lot of wear outside and this happened D:

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
That's nasty. Looks like the surround's broken, with pieces missing - not easy or cheap to fix properly.....this happened
alright, ill try to figure something out...
and the speaker works, but where would i go to fix it?
in the meantime, im trying to hook it up to my computer using the receiver box, but nothings working... i have one cord (i think its a coax or spdif) and here are the slots i have on the receiver and my comp Computer Audio - Imgur
