Hi,
The thing that brought me here is a general interest in music firstly an appreciation of sound quality and also quirky designs. My project is to change the use of a number of different sized ammunition cases i have. Im considering converting some of these into active speakers to use with my home system,im also considering making a portable ipod system that i can take with me when im working away from home of course Im looking for nice clear sounds and decent bass. any input from experienced diyers would be great as i take this project on. This is my first diy project so please excuse my lack of knowledge. I will get some measurements and pics posted as soon as. |

I seems that the ammo cases would require some serious bolstering to have the proper stability and resonance. What are they made out of?
