Hey there!
I want to chose a cable for audio interconnects - rca to rca. The length will be roughly 3ft. I have decided for Canare and lean towards microphone cables. is the L-4E6S good choice? Any other proposals? |

Canare L-4E6S is a star-quad cable only suitable for balanced interconnects. For un-balanced RCA-RCA analog interconnects chose a co-ax cable, something like LV77S.

I also guess that the GS-6 will do for the job at hand...

The GS-6 should do great (if it's the right diameter for your RCA connectors).

Nothing magic. I actually use mic cable as I like the flexibility, fine strands and double shield. I just use both center conductors and make the cables as short as possible.

I'm a bit confused here. Some say the star quad is only good for xlr connections and not recommended for rca to rca interconnects. Others use it as such and say its great.... So I opt for the GS-6 (which is a guitar cable). |

I use the star quad mic cable in both balance and unbalanced runs and it's great stuff. I also highly recommend their F-9 and F-10 RCA connectors.

a little different application, but I use star quad for all my guitar amp to speaker cabinet connections and love the stuff....that being said, I am also a huge Mogami cable fan too, some good options from them.
