Canare L-4E6S is a star-quad cable only suitable for balanced interconnects. For un-balanced RCA-RCA analog interconnects chose a co-ax cable, something like LV77S.
Thank you for your help!
Hey there!
I want to chose a cable for audio interconnects - rca to rca. The length will be roughly 3ft.
I have decided for Canare and lean towards microphone cables.
is the L-4E6S good choice?
Any other proposals?
In the US , RCA cable 3' long are as common as a sneeze. Is there something you hope to gain with another option?

Not really...
I'm a bit confused here. Some say the star quad is only good for xlr connections and not recommended for rca to rca interconnects. Others use it as such and say its great....
So I opt for the GS-6 (which is a guitar cable).
I did try the GS-6 with F9 plugs and I liked it better than my expensive interconnects.
It' s got more of everything and it's more "natural" in my opinion. The expensive one was trying to show off in a way...
The Canare is more detailed and the textures are more tangible. At the same time it delivers in a more relaxed manner.
I will be trying the mogami mic cable soon...

I use Canare star quad (assembled by Blue Jeans) as my speaker cables, and I plan to build some Canare star quad mic cables for connection between my amp and preamp.
I'm also considering the star-quad as my next diy speaker cable...
Would you care to share your impressions of the cable?
