how do i make a ATX cable to jack in/jack out

so basically what is, is that i found a 3band eq from a Hitachi TRD3d8 that i took out and want to use as a live equalizer (as a effectbox) . but i don't understand which cable is which!

There are 7 cables hooked up to the flat white plastic plug. 6 white and one grey. the white flat plug seems to name the cables as "7" "6" "5" "4" "3" "2" and "K (with some kind of a twirley circle around it)".

seems logical to me that it is two whites for input, two whites for output, two whites for + and - power and the last for earthing the power (which might not be needed as i was planning on using batteries (if it is not a passive filter)).

but this is probably all wrong. please help. if you need pictures i'll upload.
