Trade Wdwking expertise for elec. exp?

I am a hobby woodworker with a complete woodshop. I am interested in meeting people who are local (Los Altos, CA), who may be interested in trading their electronics expertise for my woodworking expertise. I am interested in building speakers and amps.

I am currently off my broken foot so have been spending a lot of time doing research. The amount of info is mind boggling and I don't really know where to start.

You've started in the right place. First figure out what you want for speakers considering, size, style, price range. You'll probably find what you want somewhere in these pages.

Then you have to find someone local who wants to trade for you skills. That may be the hardest part. Don't hesitate to ask for help. Good luck!
