Default Best way to attach two small loose wires?

What's the best way to attach 2 or 3 small loose wires? They are about 26 gauge and behind the dash of a car.

solder them if you need electrical connection.
if only mechanical, use a simple zip-tie, or hot glue gun.

If you are trying to tap these wires into existing circuits in the car electrical system use 3M Scotchlock tap-in connectors. For automotive wiring it is important to dress the wire runs with zipties near the connection and every 6 to 12 inches to ensure that the wires aren't rubbing or pinched by vehicle motion.
