I have a pair of KEF Q35 speakers using their UniQ concentric tweeter/woofer configuration.
Suddenly the left hand speaker is hardly outputting any sound. It's just small and tinny sounding. I've determined that it is indeed the speaker and not the amp. What's the appropriate steps in determining if the problem is with the driver or the crossover? I'm handy with a meter but I've never worked on speakers before. Thanks |

disconnect the midwoofer from the XO and measure the impedance. if it doesn't read 3.5-8 ohms it is probably toast. If not 0 you could hook the amp up tp it.
