Good evening all, I'm new to the forum as i've been researching digital volume pots. I've been using TDA2822s for years as amps, i know a lot of people say they are "naff" but with small speakers, they don't sound so bad! anyway, i've been looking at incorporating a digital pot to it controlled by a PIC to fade up/down/mute a portable CD player. That bit hasn't been a problem; I played with a ds1802 for a while and got bored with all the resistor bridges on the input as I need it all to run from 5v or 12v supply, so I went back to trusty ds1669-10. I'm not too clever on the audio side, my forte is PIC chips. Has anyone designed a complete circuit linking 1669s to a TDA2822 on a single rail PSU? if so, could I have a good nosey at your diagram to give me a better understanding please? i have picked these chips as i have some in a box gathering dust!!!! any help would be appreciated.
