If you must run a car amp in the home, then the most expedient way to run it is on a car battery, and keep it permanently connected to a battery charger. A 10 amp one will be enough. The best type to use are the caravan chargers which keep the batts fully charged and can be safly left on permanently.

Regards
Henry
