Default custom sub box help with plexiglass

I'm a lil pissed right now since I just wrote out this all thread only to have it deleted because I was signed out some how. So I'm just going to get straight to the point.

I'm building a custom box in my car to have it locked down and untouchable to everyone but me. I'm using the space in the trunk right behind the back seats so its angles a little. So ima get some mdf n make a straight baffle to sit the sub straight and the space between the front of the sub and the back seat I want to enclose and make a plexiglass window.

So my question is... do I need a certain amount of airspace in the window part in front of the sub? And if I do would I include that space in with the rest of the airspace needed for the sub? Ex sub need 1.5 cu ft do I make the front part of the enclosure at .75 and the back part at .75? Just an example not actual measurements.

Hi and sorry if I understood half of what you wrote.
You said that you want to put the sub straight and that's ok . But you don't want anyone to touch it, so instead of a grille you want to put a plexy sheet
between the back seats and the rear window.
But in this way you're gonna suppress most of the sound !!!
A hidden speaker by its enclosure ,like an isobaric load ,or some sort of push -push configuration ,wouldn't it be better ?
