Good one, Heyday. The microfiber stuff (403) looks promising. We used something like that on a boat hull. Hardens quickly, doesnīt shrink (!) and can be sanded to a mirror finish.

I've actually never used it. Yet.

I'm in the process of building a house and learned about the spackling compound while researching faux painting techniques.

I just used sawdust and PVA mix, worked a treat and sanded really well
