So, what size cap should I try? I tryed the 4mfd cap that was on the admirals tweeter and nothing came out of the Cobraflex, but no signal came through the same cap on the original Admiral console. Cap may be open. Seems like 4mfd is kind of large anyway.

Well, I hooked up the two way speaker to the stereo channels like you suggested. Works pretty good but the amp I'm using sounds kind of "grainy". Those 6EH5s are pretty small but I think they should sound better. Maybe I have to replace some capacitors with more current jobies. I can't find a schematic however.

Also, Planet man--- what is meant by PLLXO?

Is that what I'd want to use to separate frequencies ahead of preamp? Ultimately providing cleaner, more discreet frequencies to respective drivers in speaker?

If you look at the schema for my 5-buck amp (post 5) you'll get the essence of your amp.



I stripped out everything that was not needed (tone controls etc), and running it with feedback i would have a current amp (i didn't know that at the time -- really need to get Mk 2 built)
