ima noob and I need to know how to power a speaker.
I hooked up a headphone jack to a speaker and it works but the sound is very low so i researched online and i found out that i needed a chip amp so i got the LM386 but i don't know how to wire it. How could I make this speaker actually play the music? |

Hi Pacislander
Welcome to DIYaudio, I think you'll find everything you need here. Have you built any electronic circuits before? Do you have tools like a soldering iron, multimeter etc? You may be best off looking for a small amplifier kit. Try searching here for LM386, gainclone, chipamps etc. good luck and let us know how it goes! |
