Kimberly is at least in the same province. I'd guess about an 8 hour drive to the ferries for someone enjoying the scenery. That is too close to not come out to the coast (i'd suspect you'd fly in to Calgary over Vancouver) ...

If you look over to the left, in the back, you will see a set of cabinets that Dave was giving away during Island Fest 11. This what I did with them:
