Rick was talking about how most music doesnt take use of the subwoofer that can get down to 16hz, i think i'll bring an mp3 player next time and show him some real bass.

What Rick said is true for most popular music. But it not true for movies. Many movies have sound effects that will make a good subwoofer come to attention.

I just happen to have quite abit of music that makes subwoofers come to attention.

It has a very long lowest organ note (16.25Hz?) at the opening that most people have never heard

It's easy for synthetic music and special effects to have very low frequencies, but in recorded music there aren't a lot of instruments that can go that low.

Owen Columbus setting up his line arrays. They use 25 Vifa TC9 drivers per side and are equalized using a Behringer DEQ2496.

Yet they're transportable in a normal size car. Hard to believe.

Hey Tyler

The piece that we played has the same notes at much longet intervals. The open to Thus Sprach Zarasthustra is good. But the Saint Saen's number 3 in this particular recording is in a class all by itself. Ask Pierre. It was really funn lifting the room just as you would hear in concert. Nothing quite like it.
