By the way, Thats Bruce Heran in most of the photos. His Oddwatt was amazing once the KT88s were changed to JJ KT77s.
There was a guy there, Lee... builds his own designs with tubes. Amazing preamp he had. Really nice piece of massive equipment. He also had a huge tube amp which was pretty good but Bruce stole the show for sure with that Oddwatt as far as amps are concerned.
We all had a really good time and I am sure it will be a good time at Fred's house to.

SY,
Can you bring a Millet amp? I imagine you have one and I have been wondering what they sound like.

wanted to plug this thread again. Folks this is a new one in Houston. Yeah probably should start a Houston thread but if 5 guys show up it will be fun and if 12 show up it will be fun.

If I have one packaged by then- my current one is an explosion tacked to plywood. One of the other members is having a top plate made for me, but I don't have an ETA. I will for sure bring my Bastard Box for some blind testing fun.

Very slim chance I would drive to Houston alone, but I might carpool...

SY, if I were 15 years younger, I would have loved to take those blind tests. Now, not so much. I will show up anyway and see what I can hear/not hear.

Hey, sonidos, I'm in North Austin, near Pflugerville, in case you'd like to carpool down there. (I spend many summer nights at Dell Diamond)

SY,

That would be great if we can pool together. I live about 1/4 mile from the DD. I'll let you know. The wife has a baby shower to attend in the evening and I need to ensure we have someone to watch our kids.
