Or, if you really like BART, get off in SF, then catch a ferry across the bay... ?

I hope to make it this year.

Question: Is there anyone willing/able to set up some sort of ABx or double-blind testing of some cables, resistors, caps, etc? Not to stir the sh!t, but I'd love to see some good, accurate testing with results posted here later. I'd love to participate and see what I can/can't really hear, plus would love to see some of those who "know" the results maybe learn something. Just a thought.

I'll watch for details.

Thanks!

And just about the best place for this kind of meet up there could be = great views, great weather ( ) ...

It's gorgeous, just a nice place to hang out even if there weren't lots of really sweet audio gear to check out.

It's chilly though, bring jackets.

This time I will bring my PA system, if no objections, with a new revolutionary microphone array.
...but I need to find yet a couple of 100 megaOhm resistors...

Is that the one that was set up a couple of years ago outside of the old firehouse?

What form factor? 5 - 22Meg in series from a guitar shop will do in a pinch.

Default I might make it

But perhaps without the Speakers Of Doom. The job pretty well ate my life until about June, so I figured to finish painting the boxes and fill them up with crossovers, when I broke my leg hiking. Since these things are about 200 to 220 pounds (about 100 kg) apiece without the bevy of drivers, that's kinda put a crimp in horsing them around.

I thought those were pretty good. Can anyone tell me who/where they came from?

I think the PA system was from a guy in Cameron Park CA.
Right next door to me! Although I can't remember his name or business card........sorry,

Ron
