Default Power supplies switching on consecutively

Hope the c word is correct English, hope you understand anyway if it's not...
Currently building a Coldamp amp with 2 smps supplies STS80 and 7 BP4078 amps.
Now, what I would like best would be every amp switching on after the other, so that hopefully the room light wouldn't dim and each amp could be automatically checked.
These amps work on 60-0-60VDC rails.
I'm not too fond on clicking relays but maybe some solid state relay could be used?
Sorry to say I don't have much experience with these things...
The BP4078 does have enable pins I think.
Thanks For Your Thoughts!

Does the smps module have a soft start circuit? If it does, I guess you can modify it for slower voltage ramping at power-on to avoid too high charge currents for the capacitor banks.

The PSUs themselves include a double soft start circuit so they shouldn't produce a too large inrush current:
First, the inrush current to charge primary capacitors is limited by a NTC.
Secondly, the controller has a slow start time of around 0.5-1second to avoid the high charge current of the secondary capacitors.

If you have any questions, just e-mail us.

Best regards,
Sergio
