Hey, I have asked for some chips to Texas Instruments that are also PWM, maybe we would experiment with them. For example, TPA3001PWPR, it claims 20W per channel, miniature 24 pins TSSOP. I ordered from JAMECO some adapters to adapt TSSOP to 24 DIP, I will use SMT to make some prototypes. Also, LM has some PWM amps. What do we say to this?

Low price IC, yes. But low sound quality also. Why bother? It's cheaper to buy a boombox, all finished, for a couple of tens?

Yes and Tripath has Chip/processor that have 2-ch each 1kWrms in to 4 ohms. I didn't see anything even remote like this from IR or IT or ...
