Hey RGW - big A7 fan myself.

You'll want at least a 2A power supply. It's usually plenty. If you're running dual mono blocks, that's even better.

I'll dig up the little SMPS that I like and use later tonight and post a link. Cheap and good.

Aloha
Pano

The "really big woofer" moniker refers to my dogs, 2 great pyrenees: Kinnick 135# + Carver 110#. So i may just have the heaviest woofers here.

Well Shootz! Looks like all the good 12V "line lump" supplies I like are sold out. Too bad.

Anyway, best to stick to 12V for the Sonic, unless you can get some cooling in there for the chip. You can use your PC supplies, but you'll want to make sure they're clean. More filtering won't hurt.

There is a LOT you can do to improve the sound of these little amps. And with your rig, you will be sure to notice it. If you like the sound of the Sonic Impact amps, wait 'til you hear what those chips can really do. I see an AMP6 in your future. Or maybe even a Trends TA-10

Just to clarify my previous post, the power supplies meant for LED monitors seem to be well-filtered and make a great pair with the t-amps. Search on eBay for "12v" in Monitor accessories. There are usually a bunch available.
