Power Sup recommend?

hi all
Which power amp is better with UcD400ad?
ColdAmp or Hypex ...
For 220VAC is it matter?what shall i look for?

Another Q:for dualmono amp I need 2 moudle (UcD400ad)?
same about UcD700ad?

I suppose you mean what power supply to choose for your UcD400ad, right?
Coldamp has both switching and linear PSUs, I think they have a couple of switching ones, a bigger one for two modules and a smaller one for 1 module. Hypex only has linear PSUs.

Dual mono means two channels, each with its own PSU, so you need two UcD400 (or whatever) and two PSUs.

If you choose a linear PSU you must add a big transformer to the cost, while switching PSUs don't need anything else so they are also cheaper all things considered. There are very good reports in these forums in using Coldamp PSUs with Hypex modules. I personally used coldamp amplifiers as well, so can't tell about the combination you propose.
