Moving my Sonic Impact amp from room to room caused a problem recently. There was some resistance pushing the Audio Input pin in and suddenly one channel went dead. If I wiggle the wire around both channels will sometimes come on at the same time… but only for a second or two. I opened up the amp and found there is no way that I can see to fix (push back) the problem. Does anyone have any thoughts or is this $30 amp toast?

Cold or broken solder connection on the circuit board or possible broken trace = my guess.

Time to mod the little fellow with new inputs. You can come in the wires that connect to the pot.
