Thanks,
That's just how I build all my gear, friends call it the Sander-Super-Nett-Verarbeitung, and that's coming from a bunch of German friends that have perfection written all over their builds already. Best regards, Sander Sassen http://www.hardwareanalysis.com

Hallo Sander
This is an outstandig implementation, perfect workmanship, clean design, very professional! Congratulations! As a beginner, with yet limited experience, may I ask two questions? (1) You are using unbalanced inputs, rather than XLR. Did you compare the two and found no difference in performance? You just tied the unused input to ground? (2) I see that you are using a power line filter. If I recall correctly, Bruno once recommended against it, because the Y-caps could cause ground contamination with power line noise. However, it all may depend on how grounding is implemented. Maybe you could shortly comment on this? I'm in the process of finishing two UcD180AD monoblocks, a picture will follow shortly. Kurt |

Some photos of a recently developed 6x400W amplifier, based on 6 coldamp BP4078 modules and 3 SPS80.
Height is only 44mm. (don't know if I posted it before in other thread, sorry if so). |
