Hi to all,
I am italian and i am very interesting in DIY project. :D
I would like to ask you some questions and evenctually some best practices for building my first project based on CHARLIZE from DIYPARADISE.COM.
Please, try to understand my bad english.
I bought the kit because i was very curious about Tripath and having to sonorize a small home studio i thinked that it was a good solution.
Googling around and also inside the forum i found some good review of the kit.

This is the setup

PSU switching Skynet 8080
CAPS Nichicon 10000 Uf/63 Volt
Charlize with air core inductors
Alps Blu 50K
Golden RCA connectors
Golden speakers connectors
OFC calble for connecting CHARLIZE -> SPEAKERS CONNECTORS
CAT 7 Cable for connecting RCA - ALPS - CHARLIZE
Solder with high percentage of silver
HIFI2000 Enclosure

Charlize will play a chain based on:

.CD Marantz CD63-MkII KI
.Indiana Line 4.30
.Signal Cable YANXING OIL INJECTED (Attached you will find a photo of this strange cable)
.Speaker Cable TNT-Star

I would like to have your opinions on such type of configuration and on the components selected.
I have a doubt about AC Line filter: Is it right to use it or not?
If yes, why?

Thank you very much for every reply

Bye

Fabio

I think you won't be disappointed, not to say there are better options...:p

The AC line filter smooths out any possible interference on the 50hz AC power on the net, use it if not only to improve the audio than it might save your equipment. I don't think it will be very necessary...

Some people are not so enthusistic about the Charlize too:
