Default plate amp layout

I am trying to make a plate amp for each speaker to try and put all my jumble of boxes together, enhance signal to noise performance, build a better testing platform, etc.

I am asking for comment on layout of the amplifier with respect to placement of the crossover board and ucd modules, power supply etc. I'm shooting for dimensions of 12"x18"x6".

I feel the woofers could benefit from UCD400, they will get adequately loud using the UCD180, but going to the 400 would make them clip free. I have one twelve inch per speaker, may go to two tens in future revisions. I'm not sure whether I should run all three/four drivers off the same psu and use all ucd400, or put the woofers on a separate psu, and use ucd 180s for the mid/tweet. Cost for a new setup would be about the same. Using the same psu would save a good bit of room in the chassis.

It is a little tricky because I already have 4 x ucd180ADs. If anyone is willing to purchase modded ones (input caps removed and soldered wires directly to module, could replace or short caps) that would be the easiest, shoot me an email.

Also not sure whether to have the UCDs on the top of the amp, or in the middle, with the crossover at the top. With the crossover in the middle, amp supply lines go across it. With the UCDs in the middle, the psu->amp lines are shorter.

In case anyone wonders why this is going in the class d forum, I figure you guys are required to have the best layouts out there.

Here is a preliminary picture just to give an idea:

here's another one I was looking at, with the signal level transformer mounted on the wall by the signal psu
