Battery powered portable Class-D mono amp >50W RMS

Hi all,

For mobil acoustical measurement purposes, I am looking for a very small and light Class-D mono amp that can be battery powered, for example by this battery http://www.globalmediapro.com/do/product/1806, and delivers between 50W to 100W RMS (more would be ok, too ;)) at 4 Ohms from 20Hz to 20kHz with reasonable THD and frequency response (a "real" flat frequency response is not first priority here).

Please note that this is not so much about DIY than gaining a efficient power supply independant light weight amplifier as quick as possible, so if anyhow possible I'd like to use EVA-boards.

Comparatively high output power is crucial.

Until now, I came across
* Apogee Technology, Inc. (http://www.apogeemems.com/reference_designs.htm : especially EB2001M)
* D2 Audio, Austin / Texas (http://www.d2audio.com/default.aspx?c=277&t=Modules&k= : WXS600, WXS300, TXS25)
* Tripath (http://www.tripath.com/downloads/RB-TK2050.pdf)
* Monolithic Power Systems / MPS (http://www.monolithicpower.com/files/EV7782DF-00A_r1.2.pdf)
* Hypex: http://www.hypex.nl/docs/UcD180_datasheet.pdf

The Hypex looks really interesting, battery power supply seems to be a problem though (45V). For the moment, I'm looking into getting that Tripath or MPS mentioned. Any hints, comments, suggestions would be highly appreciated!
Best
Felix

Get a small car amp and a 12V battery. I bought a 4 channel Tripath car amp and a 12V-150W power supply. It works like a charm.
I've seen small 2-channel 100W switchers for around $100.00.
Depending on the size of your battery you get more or less operating time.
All you would have to do is a custom input/output panel where you can quickly connect all of the parts into a working system.
