D REX1200 schematics

Hi everyone,

I got D REX1200 class d amplifier schematics (subwoofer car amplifier):
SMPS 12V---60V 1.2kW
class d amplifier : 600WRMS/4 ohms
1200WRMS/2ohms

Iy you're interested let me know !

I'm interested. I've had to repair a couple of these amplifiers and I remember some black big potted box whose contents I want to know

(if I'm not mistaking models).

Hi,

You wrote that the PSU rails are 60V.
600W on 4ohm or 1200W on 2ohm requires 140Vpp, so the rails need to be about 2×80V.
Anyway I am so interested, shall you upload the documentation?

In the first batches of these amplifiers, the internal supply voltage was around 75V while PSU capacitors were just 63V units. That caused some capacitor failures from time to time (I replaced them with 80V types). Also, if I remember properly, the output stage is a full bridge with 2 n-channel and 3 p-channel TO-220 devices paralleled on each leg, and output current is sensed through small and thick shunts, so rail efficiency should be very high. An HIP4080 was used as a driver if my memory doesn't fail.
