I don't use any caps across the speaker terminals. None of the other makes of amps seem to use them either.

The sonic T amps are costing about £30 in the UK,
"Differential Output Capacitor. Differential noise decoupling for reduction of conducted emissions. Must be located near chassis exit point for maximum effectiveness." (datasheet) - Does that mean to reduce any interference with TV and/or radio?

I paid £28 delivered from Media-Zone, I see they've dropped to £27 now. Good fast service. 3.5A SMPS and lead another £19.

Incidentally I am using 20k pots ... Am i strangling the sound at all ?
If you do the Stealth mod you're removing a 10k resistor R01 originally across pot wiper & ground which would give much less than 20k with the original pot...

Why is R01 there? To change the pot law?

Sorry to sound stupid, but are you saying that 20k or 50k doesn't really matter? I did what is referred to as the "original" mod by removing R1 and R2.(2k resistor to polpropylene caps etc) RO1 and RO2" are left in place with this mod.
