I have to ask, pardon my hidden agenda, but how many of you would like a networked P4 box with a pair of UcD 180's in it - so you could play your digital tunes from one box?
No more wires from your computer to your amp - just one computer box with Bruno's amps in it? Surf, play tunes, whatever. Please give me an answer - you cannot imagine what's riding on your response... BTW, it's already built and done... Best Regards, Tom |

sounds like an interesting idea.
i like the idea of an all-in-one solution, but isnt a computer really noisy (physically and electrically), plus, icky mp3's i guess you could do uncompressed though. could be interesting, have pics?

Not to dump on your project Ptwining, maybe some pictures and a good view of implementation would make a difference. The PC noise doesn't leave much incentive though.

anyways, back on thread. i would like to know more. if its just a PC with an amp slapped inside, no thanks. but, if it looks nice, had decent quality, and looks like an audio piece, and maybe is silent, im interested. |
