Default Elektor Clarity Tripath 3020 Amp

I am considering building the Elektor Clarity amplifier which uses the Tripath TA3020.

Has anyone built this or a similar amp based on the TA3020? I am interested in what the sound quality is like. Checking the forums there seems to be a lot of enthusiasm for the Tripath TA2020 amps (Charlize etc). The Elektor amp is said to be based on the TA3020 eval board but with improvements to some of the parts selection and PCB pathing (using SMDs in a few critical locations).

The amp will be replacing an existing active system I have which uses 3 x Elektor Crescendo amps (Hitachi MOSFET) per side. I would be using the Clarity amps in a 2 way active system per side.

thanks for any thoughts

Nigel
