Hi all!
I have a quick question. I want to build a dual monoblock amp using the UcD 180 AD's. I would really like to use two of the HG power supply but the funds right now do not allow it. So I was planning on buying two ST power supplies My question: Can I replace (substitute) the "blue" caps in the ST supply for two BHC split-foil or any other caps? Also, If I use the ST PS would I need to put 'rectifiers' on this power supply as the HG power supply has? I know I can use the HG PS for two modules but would really like to have a dual mono setup. I'm no electrical engineer so building a power supply would be a bit much for me. Thanks to anyone lending a hand to this newbie! |
