Default Super T Amp

SI now has their Super T Amp listed on their website. Who's going to be the first to try?

Well.. Big Rich at SI was supposed to send me one when they came in. As of last week he didn't have any. Will have to bug him again. Stay tuned.

I like the looks of the Flying Mole stuff - nicety built. Wonder what sort of class-d flavor it is?
Maybe I can beg a sample off them, and have a listen.

I am keen to try the integrated ca-s3 because the bigger mono amps have been getting rave reviews.

Since I run high efficiency speakers at low volumes I definitely don't need more than 30W, so don't need the mono's power.

I am planning a neat little system:

DVD Transport
Behringer DEQ2496 (digital room correction only)
Non-oversampling DAC (possibly Monica 2)
Flying Mole CA-S3
Loth X BS1/FE207E Voigt Pipes

I like the idea of trying to overcome the frequency response concerns of full-range speakers without resorting to passive filter networks.

Anyone think the difference in dynamic range between the standard and the super t-amp is important? The standard t-amp's dynamic range is 102db while the super t-amp is 98db.

Right
Why would flying mole advertise "tube sound"? Just that would keep me from buying it. Why don't they just advertise gritty distorted compressed sound - at no extra charge?

Flying mole has never been able to ship within years of their target dates anyhow.
