The 100k doesn't harm but would do anything either i think.
13V supply should be OK with possible a little less output level - but still enough to wildly overdrive your GC!
This is a buffer (if I got the right diagram on the site) so no gain, I'm afraid. You really need 6dB gain? How about just turning up the vol control a bit further, or rather turning it less far down?

Then go active! It's not really difficult. If you want to keep with the Les Sage buffer concept, then try these .

Hardly any more work than the buffers and you have your crossover filters as well! ;)

Jan - yes, lucky to corrected that one. I've seen people shot on this forum for lesser mistakes! :D
