Default t-amp and Loth-X BS1 speakers?

guys, does anyone tried or heard t-amp with Loth-X BS1 speaker combination. Those bookshelf speakers are 94 dB/2.83 V/m efficient and as most reviewers state - those speakers are dedicated for tube amps.

what's your opinion: would t-amp be in good companionship with those speakers? I am really thinking of replacing my current system for Loth-X BS1 speakers. However, I sometimes don't trust my own years...and therefore would really apreciate your comments.

btw, the Loth speakers have a very tight but not deep bass. Knowing that the t-amp is bass shy, wouldn't the choice to get Loth speakers be wrong?

Default Speaker choice or watts is watts

It doesn’t matter if the 5 watts comes from tubes or comes from some kind of “T” amp, watts is watts! Tube amps will generally sound louder due to more peak power reserves or soft clipping but the real question is how big a room will this be in and how loud does it need to play? In a smaller room that is not heavily damped with less complex or demanding type of music I would think the combination would be adequate but just barely. Consider moving up to an UcD180. All things being equal more power will sound better with more speaker control, better bass and more unrestrained dynamics.

sx881663, thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned, that I usually listen to music on a very moderate level. Therefore, I don't need lots of watts.

As I have found out, the higher efficiency of the speakers should improve the quality of sound (music becomes more dynamic and transparent). Therefore, the only thing which I am looking into is the quality, not the loudness.
