Thomas, there is nothing more difficult than comparing music from 1 person with his setup to the other with his setup. I can only compare if I have my own references otherwise "you're skating on thin ice"(Dutch sentence). You need some default amps. to compare to. Differences are not that big between amps. and to remember them is even harder. So I have a pile of class D amps. so I can get a honest picture and draw my conclusions. Also asking other people to listen to the differences helps a lot. 1 person(me f.i.) may be too focused on a mod. which he thinks is it and when another person(audio minded) listens to it he/her may find it insignificant.

Ok, did the transf. also.

UCD still is more balanced, more depth. UCD highs are so d.mm clean. Also UCD bass is so tight/controlled and deep.
Did it improve....don't know yet. Have to play some more.
The Amp1B sounds impressive and if I did not have the UCD to compare to you would think...wow, but when you compare it.......hmmmm.....still not there.
