Have you see the 41Hz audio site?

http://www.41hz.com/

They have 3 T amp kits.

They have a lot more now!

I use an AUDIODIGIT MC4x100 and have eight 41hz.com AMP32's. Both very nice amps, but the AUDIODIGIT sounds a bit dull, maybe the input caps should be changed, dunno. But that AMP6 seems like a very good deal to me... especially for someone with little soldering experience...

Here's a link to some pictures...

I'm doing some A/B testing on three of my AMP32's with different caps...nice that Jan added through hole inputcap PCB pads (and smd!)
on this tiny board.. the build went fairly well (only one of six I made doesn't want to sing..:( )

The sound is most rewarding afterwards!

Thanks, lousymusician

I just want to be sure I fully understand, even though you were clear in your comments.

From your notes, this is what gathered I will need to make the 2020 amp from Autocostruire:

- basic module
- power supply
- transformer
- speaker posts
- case

The transformer doesn't seem that expensive from Autocostruire and I'm concerned about matching the right one to the unit. It seems like it might be safer to go with theirs. But I'm open to suggestions.

Thanks for your input on this.
