Should be very interesting to see how the Amp3 compares to my diy J-fet buffered,zero feedback regulated Gain Clone.
I've also got a highly modded tube amp and an AvondaleNCC200 although the GC will probably be the main thing I'll compare it against |

You will need a power cord and/or inlet to the chassis. Fuse holder. Transformer of 300VA with 22 VAC center tapped. Rectifier bridge. Smoothing power supply capacitors of about 10,000 uF @ 50 volts.
You will also need a 5 volt regulator and the associated parts to make one up. The 22 VAC transformer @ 300VA seems to be a bit of a rare bird. I have only found one, which is made by Plitron. Cost including shipping to CO is about $100.00 |

Thanks for the information.
I have sent him a e-mail. Hopefully it will be less expensive than Plitron, but just as good. |
