I'm so happy! I've never done any sort of PCB soldering/desoldering, but I got my amp modded in the usual way, and it works! It sounds fantastic. The LED stopped working (gonna investigate right now) and i can't turn it up too high becuause of my wussy 1000ma power supply, but all is good
![]() ok, i checked it out, and my LED power output is reading 12v. I could have swore it was only 2v before. Someone else said it was 2v also. Very strange... anybody know whats going on? |

Congrats. Did you lose the resistor on the LED? I believe it's R1 on the top of the board. Though usually the led would pop or cease to function if it were bridged/desoldered.

Was it a kit? Maybe you mixed up two resistors and now there is the one for the LED somewhere else in the circuit (!), or possibly the wrong LED resistor value was in the kit??
