Unhappy Sorry classd4sure

Inductive and reactive power include is that I measure power with a Voltech PM300 power analyser, who show VA, VAR and Watts, and for all people who dont know, output coil in class d amplifier make some Inductive and reactive power coupled to the load, even with pure resistive load....So all power provided by amplier are measured...More right to say that power was in VA, not in watts, but most pro dont understand what that's mean.... !!! Very nice test equipement for power amp this voltech...You can measure power on each channel and AC main power at the same time, so effiency is really easy to measure!

Bye

Hello Fredos,

Thanks very much for the answers, I really appreciate your effort....

Meanwhile we are developing a +5KW - 3 Level PWM, Full Bridge, Forced Clocked @ 250KHZ Full range HI-Fidelty...using Mosfets from APT->APT30M18LVR and the size of Output Filter would be 2 times less than 1 level PWM amp....

Also Visit http://www.ecler.com/enter/product/dts.htm a spanish CLASS-D amp employing 3 level PWM...

For large sound reinforcements People usually buy more amps than just a single very high power amp because of reliability and the tendency for it "The Show Must Go On"

regards,
K a n w a r

No need for sorry Fred, just wanted to know what's up

Hey your english is fine so stop worrying about it. Also I think we all appreciate your openess and willingness to share, it's a nice change from what seems the norm (obvious exceptions excluded). Should be fun having you around here.

Salut,
Chris

I have some questions about this smps(K6).

Why this smps do not have PFC(Power Factor Correction)?

Question for owner, did you bought this design or that is your project idea?
