Hi all,
I need a +/- 30V supply for a TA2022 amp that i'm planning to build, but I can only get 0-18 0-18 and 0-25 0-25V transformers here. The 18V units would give me +/- 25V (a tad low) and the 25V units +/- 35V (which is marginally high). Which one should I go for? I will be rectifying and filtering the two outputs from the transfomers seperately, so theoratically I will drop approx. 1.4 volts from each output, which would give me 23.6V and 33.6 volts... but I'd prefer not to rely on that. Any suggestions? |

Use the 0-25 0-25V transformer is your speakers are close to 8 ohms, otherwise select the 0-18 0-18V transformer.
