Where can a person buy a SI amp? I ordered one from somewhere, but they cancelled my order. Who has these in stock?

I received a notice yesterday from PC Mall that states they are expecting some on 3/11/05. I've heard those promises before, but maybe this time...
I read somewhere that the SI web site may have some for sell at retail.

...and it's right back out of stock!
I got mine from SI-5.com direct, it costed me $45 shipped, but at least I HAVE IT. PLUS, they gave me the black SoundPax speakers and carry-all bag for free...so that was a nice little bonus toy to play with. I am so excited...I have an awesome rig coming together, will be going to the lumber shop today to get wood cut for my Fostex FE206E drivers (96dB efficiency!) and then I'll be getting my badass Dantimax remote controlled preamp/input switcher (fully discrete switching): http://electronics.dantimax.dk/Kits/index.html (Click on "remote 3") BOO YAH! |

hey, someone with experience it this sort of thing should contact SI about a possible group buy for diyaudio members... I'm sure we'd give them plenty of business...

The SI-mania has swept over to germany.
In case anybody needs a source there: http://www.spectrumaudio.de/ Click "Produkte", then "Röhrenverstärker" (yes they put it in the tube amplifiers section )

40 Euro for the SI TA2024 and 25 Euro for "schaltnetzteil", I guess that is a switching powersupply, 60W.
